Shooters POV Cam

Over the last year I’ve been experimenting with different action cams strapped to my rig to film the days events and in hope they can yield some information as to where the shot may have went wrong. After going through a few camera’s and mounts I’m now on a setup that is i think the best of the bunch so far….

I use two cameras on my rig, one on top SJCam M10 and the other under the front ATN Shot Trak HD which has a temp mount at present.

The SJCam sits on top the scope filming in 1920 x 1080 full HD with a wide angle of 170° lens giving some great quality views for such a small unit.
The camera comes with allsorts of mounting options including one that clamps onto the scope body, with options to house in a completely waterproof case or just the camera unit on its own, and light weight too just weighing in at camera weight only 2.4oz. Below is a clip of BFTA round 5 at Far Coley shot with the SJCam M10.

The second camera I use is the ATN Shot Trak HD, as like the SJCam M10 films in 1920 x 1080 full HD but has a fixed lens zoom of 5x magnification which helps give a better close up view of your target. Comes with a clamp which attaches onto a Weaver Picatinny rail and can be removed and used in three positions on the camera body.

The camera does give reasonably good pictures with its 5x magnification for such a small unit and when combined with SJCam it makes for good viewing both wide and close up footage as seen here below.
