Sywell Airgun Sports Club based in Northampton just off the A43 52.31788, -0.79638

For once Sywell was a little bit more forgiving as the wind goes, normally you can expect to drop this round from the winter league but not this time for me. There was wind and yes you had to think about it especially on the bank of doom as its known and in the garden. The pinking was set out in the garden and I soon noticed the sneaky setters had put out the 55 yard plinking plate in a gap where wind was funnelling through giving the unsuspecting shooter the wrong info.

I was doing well from the start on the bank of doom taking all targets long and short until I came to the standing lane target 27 only 17.5 yards away. Clicked in on target but my feet position wasn’t quiet right as I was fighting to push my body left, I knew I should have moved my feet just a smidge but oh no its only 17.5yards I’ve got this….. no wrong and I knew it.! Why do we do it.? If I’d moved that one shot would have given me 100% for the day, oh well next time eh.? I got 96% in the end which is good and I need it to keep me chasing the pack for the winter league end results.

Another good day was had with just a couple of whistles so a big thank you to all at Sywell Airgun Sports Club and good luck holding one of next years 2017 GP Series events.
